Verify record integrity
Check sealed content and its relationships using trusted verification material.
#Portal verification
Read the Record integrity card in the transaction review screen. Recheck integrity runs verification against the existing record. Opening original content and performing verification may create access-audit events.
#What verification establishes
A successful result means the checked content and relationships are consistent with the expected seals and trust material. Business success, model accuracy and record integrity are separate questions. A failed transaction can still pass integrity verification.
#Verify the trust root
An arbitrary key placed next to a package is not automatically trustworthy. Confirm seal, witness and report-key fingerprints through an authorised institutional channel. Manage key rotation through the institution’s procedure. Database administration, private signing-key access and witness trust are separate authorities.
#Scope of technical verification
Sigillum is not automatically a notary, independent expert or qualified trust-service provider. Missing, damaged or unverifiable evidence must not be treated as verified. A seal alone does not prove that a source described reality completely or accurately.
